Ebola Scare on Carnival Magic ended Sunday, Oct. 19th

Carnival Magic carrying a Dallas lab supervisor who handled a specimen from a Liberian man who died from Ebola in Dallas showed no symptoms during the cruise but self-quarantined out of caution. Carnival Cruise Lines was informed by health authorities Sunday morning that she tested negative for Ebola. The lab supervisor and her husband drove themselves home after arriving in Galveston.

The Cruise  industry for years has had passengers fill out a health questionnaire. With the poor handing by Ebola in Dallas the cruise industry is taking steps to avoid future issues with new screening procedures.
